Cougars For Andrew Donation Form
Brookstone Middle School student Andrew Wade is battling Ewing's Sarcoma. The entire Brookstone community has come together to support the Wade family through this difficult time.
- Students and faculty are wearing "Cougars for Andrew" bracelets to show our love and support.
- Upper School biology teacher and cross country coach Dorothy Cheruiyot is running a race in honor of Andrew on March 4th. Dorothy will be competing in the Memorial Mississippi Trail 50, a 50 mile race. She has run the MS50 twice. In 2012 she finished the 50 miles in 10:08 hrs, and in 2014 she ran it in 9:41 hrs and finished as the 4th woman and 16th overall. Each year she ran the race with each mile in memory or honor of family members and friends. But this year, she will run the 50 miles in honor of Andrew Wade. Along with the race Dorothy is collecting donations for Columbus Pediatric Oncology Unit of Columbus Regional Hospital. Andrew will have the opportunity to present 100% of the donations received to the Pediatric Unit and recognize his doctors, nurses, and therapists, who are a part of his team.
